Solutions Architect

Description

Under limited guidance, work at the business unit level developing the end-to-end solution architecture for significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. Exposes current state architecture and identifies options for future state architecture. Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns. Develops plans for and facilitates the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives. Mentor those in less senior positions. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems, business plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. 

Requirements 

Must have 3 years of experience with the following: Programming Languages (Java, Php, Python, Spring); Devops CI/CD Integration (Jenkins, Docker); Data Visualization (Matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly); Infrastructure and network Monitoring Tools Instrumentation and Customization (AppDynamics, Splunk, ServiceNow). Must have 1 year of experience with the following: Adobe Ecommerce (Magento); Adobe Analytics; Azure synapse and data bricks. General knowledge of hardware, software, and network. Human relations. Communication. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Plano, TX. Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
