Description

The Sales Enablement team exists to empower our global Sales organization with information, education, and support that increases revenue and reduces selling complexity. We are seeking a Principal‑level strategic project and communications leader (6+ years’ experience) to drive high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives that directly support the launch and execution of our enterprise Sales strategies.

This role requires a leader who is passionate about strategic storytelling, driving clarity across complex initiatives, and influencing outcomes at scale. You will act as a critical bridge between executive vision and field execution - working autonomously to build complete communication strategies and executing them from start to finish. You will lead without direct authority, partnering seamlessly with cross-functional teams and executive leaders while regularly handling sensitive, confidential information. By translating the top priorities of the Sales organization into actionable enablement work, you will ensure that our projects and communications directly reinforce the enterprise strategy.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Execute Executive Vision: Translate complex executive priorities into actionable project plans, deliverables, and field-ready enablement initiatives.
  • End-to-End Communications Leadership: Lead integrated communication strategies from ideation to execution. Develop compelling, high‑visibility executive content and top-tier written internal communications that drive clarity and adoption.
  • Complex Project Ownership: Own and drive complex, multi‑workstream projects that require deep change‑management skills, cross‑functional alignment, and strategic oversight. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high-impact results.
  • Executive Advisory & Representation: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Sales. Represent executive leadership in meetings and functions with professionalism, clarity, business etiquette, and a high level of autonomy.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority. Partner closely with HR, Legal, Global Sales Operations, SVP communicators, and Sales leadership to surface, synthesize, and execute strategic priorities.
  • Mentorship & Team Elevation: Serve as an informal leader and mentor to junior team members, providing guidance on plan development and elevating the overall quality, consistency, and strategic impact of the team's output.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Lead analysis of project and communication performance metrics, measuring the impact of enablement efforts and developing data‑driven recommendations to continuously improve audience engagement.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus

  • Experience developing and leading strategic project and communication plans for complex, high-impact initiatives.
  • Exceptional-level written internal communications and presentation capabilities. Extensive knowledge of writing, editing, message design, and change‑readiness communications.
  • A proven passion and ability for strategic storytelling—taking complex or confidential information and transforming it into clear, engaging, and actionable narratives for the sales field.
  • Strong project management and networking skills with a proven track record of influencing, coordinating, and leading large, cross-functional stakeholder groups without direct reporting lines.
  • Superior ability to work directly with all levels of leadership, exhibiting sound judgment and executive business etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple critical projects simultaneously, and consistently deliver high-impact results from start to finish.
