POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for interacting with business partners and staff gathering and documenting information related to requirements for software testing.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identifying and gathering information from multiple sources and independently sorts medium to high complexity business issues to recommend appropriate directions.

2. Communicate and leads project activities through meeting facilitation, managing, project scope and progress.

3. Analyses business processes and associates them with software deliverables.

4. Develops and executes test scripts against requirements.

5. Review draft documentation in compliance with the Company’s development process.

6. Provides consolidated input to scoping and impact analysis for future deliverables.

7. Maintains a business model that reflects current processes and business rules.

8. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to IT teams.

9. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent work experience

• Seven (7) years of experience in information technology or engineering environment

• Knowledge technical architecture, able to solve complex technical issues.

• Provide solutions to high level software/hardware issues.

• Ability to influence and support cross-functional project teams to achieve optional results.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to mentor, coach and as a knowledge resource to other employees.

Additional Details: This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
