Sr. Attorney II
Description
To provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws.
Minimum Qualifications
Juris doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the bar. At least eight years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in relevant area of law. Superior academic record. Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.
Minimum Education
Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Bar Association (ABA) and admission to the bar.
Minimum Experience
Eight (8) years’ experience and demonstrated competency relevant to area of legal specialization. Superior academic record.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Ability to work and influence peers and senior management.
Preferred Qualifications: This Sr Attorney position will support the FedEx airline and the successful candidate will have significant experience with U.S. aviation law and regulations. Previous experience with the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration or the Department of State is preferred.

Pay: Monthly range: ($9,932.42-$19,864.84)
Additional Details: This hybrid position will be domiciled in Washington, DC reporting to Manager Greg Stofko. Posting will close Friday February 20, 2026. Compensation Grade: FXCUS_SL.
