Sr Benefits Analyst
Description
Under general direction, analyzes and develops policies and benefit plans covering accident and health insurance coverage, retirement and pension plans, Income continuance, holidays, and vacations.
Job Description Summary:
The successful candidate will engage in work on a variety of business-related 401(k) or pension plan activities including exception review and resolution, data validation, payroll processing, special projects and support of day-to-day administrative processes to ensure retirement benefit programs are administered effectively.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with human resources and payroll processes and technologies such as Workday or PeopleSoft are helpful. Preferred skills include certification with MS Office tools such as Excel and basic accounting knowledge/skills including payroll, and/or disbursements.
Essential Functions
- Analyzes equity of current benefits compared to trends and legislated requirements.
- May present recommendations for change or enhancements to benefits offerings to management.
- May provide direction to lower level benefits analysts.
- May perform oversight/compliance review processes.
- Develop and maintain framework of standard operating procedures to ensure effectiveness of internal and external administration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or a related field.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years experience in employee benefit plans or related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Expertise with leading compliance/process reviews, including the identification and resolution of potential risks.
Strong experience with reporting and analytical tools.
Strong problem solving, project management, human relations and communication skills.

Pay: $5,662.27/month - $7,502.51/month
Additional Details: The desired location for this position would be Collierville, TN. This position is not eligible for relocation. Renee Miller and Janet Phillippi are the Hiring Mangers on this role. Both are hiring a Sr Benefits Analyst position.
