Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Description
Develop major applications systems requirements, testing and controls and provide support of application enhancements. Lead determination of key information and analysis requirements and build supporting information and decision support systems. Create systems plans matched to business requirements and build performance measurement of value creation. Lead the requirements gathering and configuration establishment of licensed, vendor packaged business software systems, as applicable. Support, maintain and/or administer implemented business system solutions, as deemed necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Master’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related quantitative discipline plus 2 years business or systems experience which includes systems program management, matching business requirements to supporting system requirements, software design/development, systems training, application testing, systems migration and integration, or developing business user systems requirements. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science, business, or a related quantitative discipline plus 4 years business or systems experience which includes systems program management, matching business requirements to supporting system requirements, software design/development, systems training, application testing, systems migration and integration, or developing business user systems requirements in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
Requirements:
The position requires experience with: Systems analysis, Project management, Requirements gathering/analysis, Process automation, ETL processes, Data visualization; Data modeling, Database design/administration. Experience with either technology assessments, decision support, information business services, network design, database design or software requirements definitions. Must be able to analyze business operations and develop automated solutions. Must possess strong human relations and communications skills, planning and organizing abilities. Will be expected to collaborate with system users and technical developers. Ability to create, read, and research system documentation. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. This position will be hybrid in Collierville, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week. Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
