Sr Charter Plng Spec

Description

Plans, coordinate and monitor FedEx aircraft charter flights; to determine flight schedules, ground handling support, loadmaster support and contingencies needed to perform a charter flight. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Coordinates movements of live animals and attended government shipments on scheduled service flights on the FedEx global network.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, transportation or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years related experience in flight operations performing work in an airline charter department or airline operations control center.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of FedEx aircraft weight and balance preparation, ground support equipment, SITA communication networks, pc computer operation, forte, and FedEx air operations requirements.

Strong communication skills.
