Description

Performs complex data analytics and analysis utilizing Excel, SQL and/or SAS to ensure accurate pay in accordance with the crew’s collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Responsible for planning, overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project-oriented work efforts.

Essential Functions

Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Leads project activities through meeting facilitation, managing project scope, and communicating progress.

  • Audits all crew compensation activity pertaining to credit hours that are processed for payment, ensuring compliance with federal aviation regulations (FARs) and the crew’s CBA .
  • Provides accurate and timely accounting of the crews' credit hours to the payroll department. Audits, maintains, and reconciles the crews’ sick and vacation banks to ensure compliance with the CBA.
  • Train lower-level employees and perform project management oversight, testing, and analysis to ensure accurate accounting of systems.
  • Develop and maintain Department operation procedures. Reporting of data to Finance, Retirement and Payroll Departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.

Minimum Experience

Four (4) years related experience with automated compensation systems, financial and operational analysis, and/or computerized crew management systems.

Advanced knowledge of Pilots’ CBA and Duty Time Regulations. Project management oversight.

Knowledge of Excel, SAS and/or SQL to develop complex calculations and/or queries to track, control, and substantiate incoming data.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Advanced Knowledge of pilot's collective bargaining agreement and duty time regulations.

Knowledge of statistics, accounting, and the FedEx computerized crew management systems.

Strong analytical, communication, human relation skills and decision-making abilities.

Demonstrated problem solving skills,planning, organizing and strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in various computer applications required.

Strong analytical, statistical, human relations and communication skills required (listening, verbal, written).


Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: U.S. Pay Range: $4,881.62/month - $8,461.48/month This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors
