Description
Minimum Education
- High school diploma; Post secondary education in International Studies or recipient of Certified Customs Specialist designation preferred
Minimum Experience
- 4 years administrative experience in cross-border transportation and-or customs, 2 of which as a Customs Associate II
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel and Internet Explorer
- Excellent understanding of technic al and administrative terms relating to US and Canadian government import and export regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees
