Job Description

Global Brand Advertising is seeking a Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist to provide leadership in the coordination, setup, and execution of analytics with recommendations that support Global Brand Advertising efforts.


Under limited supervision, develops timely quantitative analysis, market segmentation, targeting and campaign results in real time. Resolves problems and makes recommendations related to analytical findings.

Job Responsibilities and Skills

  • Gathering data through various third-party platforms and analytics tools

  • Working with extended parties to facilitate data collection

  • Prepares analyses, reports, dashboards and presentations to senior management in a format relevant for the audience, including delivering face to face presentations to all levels of leadership. Additionally, conveys complex analytics in an understandable/non-technical way to upper management including executive levels (strong communication skills)

  • Helps to drive the description of a measurement plan for Global Brand Advertising campaigns and the requirements to execute this plan

  • Works with cross-functional teams to profile visitors on fedex.com using first- and third-party data to build look-alike models to influence the segmentation, targeting, and optimization for testing and personalization on fedex.com and for media activation in advertising efforts

  • Assists in the design and implementation of data transfers between FedEx and 3rd parties to develop comprehensive view of customer behavior on FedEx and non-FedEx properties

  • Understands various site tagging models and advises management on the best approach

  • Manages and works with internal and external partners in the analytics space to increase FedEx’s maturity in digital intelligence

  • Serves as the Global Brand Advertising team liaison with internal stakeholders on the evaluation, implementation and usage of all technology that impacts paid advertising

  • Stays adept to AdTech industry trends, including researching and recommending POVs on new technology/capabilities to address business gaps

  • Manages the Global Brand Advertising campaign tracking code process and creation to ensure accurate data collection for comprehensive campaign measurement

  • Supports initiatives related to understanding and solving for cookieless future implications impacting Global Brand Advertising

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related business discipline. Three (3) years experience in a digital marketing or agency marketing science environment or demonstrated knowledge gained through coursework or work experience in digital marketing, and technology support. Strong ability to understand business and customer needs, customer and/or user experience management, product analysis and technology capabilities. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills. Proven leadership skills.

Skills Considered a Plus

  • Advertising media analytics and measurement experience

  • Proven experience working with large datasets, primarily digital marketing data

  • Proven ability to interpret data, provide insights, & provide recommendations

  • Existing expertise with the use of website analytic tools, e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, & standard website measurement terminology

  • Prior experience with report and dashboard design

  • Understanding of tagging and technical set-up of web applications - knowledge of online targeting technologies like Adobe Target as well as data management platforms like Adobe Audience Manager

  • Demonstrated relationship building and collaboration skills

  • Versatility and comfort in use of sophisticated marketing and advertising technology

  • Excellent critical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence key business decisions through analyses and user insight studies

  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Constructs analyses independently and proactively

  • Strong analytical curiosity and comfort working in an evolving discipline

  • Domicile/Relocation:

    Hybrid, Memphis, Dallas or Pittsburgh, remote considered if outside of the 50 mile radius.
     


Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience in marketing, finance, computer science, engineering or related business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Three (3) years experience in a digital marketing or digital product management environment or demonstrated knowledge gained through coursework or work experience in digital product management, and technology support.

More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Pay Transparency: Level E26

Pay: Memphis pay range: $6,511.62/mo - $10,744.16/mo; Pittsburgh pay range: $6,854.33/mo - $11,309.65/mo; Plano pay range: $6,854.33/mo - $11,309.65/mo

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. with remote consideration outside of 50 miles.
