Job Description
This role requires a strong ability to synthesize complex financial data, identify key trends, and craft compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making. Provides financial guidance to management through the analysis of products, operations, capital requests and strategic projects. Supports cross-functional projects and teams by identifying benefits and costs.
Essential Functions
Performs analyses regarding financial and/or operational performance on such issues as productivity, operational statistics, cost trends, and revenue trends.
Maintains or Assists with assigned projects by performing, analyzing, and tracking financial, statistical, and computer modeling techniques to support department recommendation.
Maintains analysis models to support recommendation provided to management.
Reviews financial plans for completeness and consistency with established objectives and priorities to include monitoring accomplishments of plans.
Designs, develops and executes self-audit applications to identify control weaknesses and compliance reporting.
Assists management in determining and defining the business impact (both operational and economic) on the operation of proposed systems, capital investments, and/or product changes. Prepares, reports on, and tracks feasibility/profitability studies related to proposed corporate programs and strategies.
Assist and provides input in the interpretation of new/changing securities rules, regulations, policies or laws; updates processes for compliance to rules and regulations as well as department procedures.
Plans and executes remediations efforts for any identified issues with minimal guidance/support from supervisor/manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong software, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills necessary to present and explain complex and/or confidential information. Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills required as well as maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals. Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills. Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations to leadership.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
Financial Planning & Analysis experience
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Financial modeling experience
Efficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Technical experience using Power BI
Ability to influence and lead business partner interaction
Self-starter with proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple demands/projects in various stages of completion
Able to develop an approach to financial analysis with an end result of well thought out, fact-based recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication including the ability to communicate analysis results and recommendations with a crisp, clear message in presentations and emails
Creative problem solver who generates new ideas to facilitate improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
Sr Financial Analyst
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline required.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years' experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
Financial Advisor
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline required.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years' experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
