Sr Financial Analyst
Description
Provides financial guidance to management through the analysis of products, operations, capital requests and strategic projects. Supports cross-functional projects and teams by identifying benefits and costs.
Essential Functions
Performs analysis regarding financial and/or operational performance on such issues as productivity, operational statistics, cost trends, and revenue trends.
Maintains analysis models and assists with assigned projects by performing, analyzing, and tracking financial, statistical, and computer modeling techniques to support department recommendation.
Reviews financial plans for completeness and consistency with established objectives and priorities to include monitoring accomplishments of plans.
Designs, develops and executes self-audit applications to identify control weaknesses and compliance reporting.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline required.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years' experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong software, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills necessary to present and explain complex and/or confidential information. Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills required as well as maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals. Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations to leadership.
Strongly Preferred Skills:
BA in Finance and/or MBA in Finance
English with Spanish conversational knowledge surrounding financial activities
4 to 5 years’ work experience in financial analysis related to operating profit and capital investment and supporting strategic decision making; specifically on an FP&A team.
Core finance knowledge and application like cashflow statements, ratio analysis, ROI, and sensitivity/scenario analysis; Strong understanding and use of financial terminology, statements, and concepts.
Competency in market analysis and risk assessment
SQL or query writing
Excel expert user
PowerPoint or similar expert user
Strong oral communication in meetings or written communication and able to explain financial output in simple terms with actionable feedback.
Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reporting
Experience developing and analyzing Capital/Lease Investments requiring NPV, Cash Flow, IRR, WACC
Work location type: Hybrid-The desired location for this position is Miami, FL.
