Sr Hangar MX Planner
Description
Receives aircraft work scope from LRP team and applies workflow template and build daily work plan. Monitors daily work scope progress to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
Essential Functions
- Performs daily audit of closed work items to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
- Attends/chairs daily production meetings.
- Reviews open items and EO/EA assignments to ensure tooling, special skills, and parts are available to accomplish the work.
- Monitors and adjust plans for changes in maintenance schedule to ensure optimal utilization of available manpower.
- Provides the daily production plan and chairs a daily production call upon completion of maintenance, coordinates with Aircraft Records to make aircraft/engines are serviceable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED and A&P license and two (2) years aircraft mechanic experience orBachelor's degree/equivalent in a technical discipline such as: aviation business management, maintenance technology or engineering.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years related experience in an airline, repair station, manufacturer or military environment accomplishing one or more of the following A/C maintenance tasks: instruction, task planning, and/or scheduling, modification planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have experience in maintenance manuals and FARS.
Job Conditions
Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
