Sr Parts Clerk
Description
Performs an accomplished level of functional tasks required for the effective, efficient, and legal operation of warehousing and ordering parts to support the global vehicles organization. Provides fast, effective operations of warehousing and parts ordering to support the global vehicles organization in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Provides timely parts support to global vehicle maintenance customers. Tracks inventory and processes invoices for purchasing and shipping parts. Maintains good working relationships with external and internal customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years experience in coordinating or managing parts inventory within the automotive, truck, or heavy equipment industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of ATA code for parts stocking. Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment in compliance with established policies and practices. Knowledge of ground support equipment. Proficient skills in operating a personal computer. Basic teamwork and interpersonal skills. Good communications skills are required.
Job Conditions
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver any weight above 50 pounds with assistance on a regular basis. Ability to work without supervision for extended time periods. Must be able to work in noisy, non air-conditioned/heated work area. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be willing to work any shift. Must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence. Must be able to satisfactorily complete dangerous goods training.
