Sr Project Manager - EBS
Description
To lead the planning, organizing, and tracking of projects that impact or enhance the department and/or the FedEx enterprise.
Essential Functions
- Leads low-to mid-complexity projects from concept through implementation.
- Responsible for balancing stakeholder requirements and strategic objectives within quality, time, and budget constraints and for managing associated risks.
- Responsible for working with stakeholder to gather and document project benefits (cost savings, process improvements) and strategic importance of projects.
- Activities include but are not limited to developing project schedule, project communication, securing funding, and allocating resources (internal & external).
- Coordinate subject area and technical specialists to implement stakeholder requirements.
- Act as the single point of contact for team.
- Regularly report project status to program managers, senior management and/or the sponsor and stakeholders.
- May manage relationships with external contractors, developers and consultants at a tactical level.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent, business, technical, analytical or related disciplines.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years experience managing cross-functional projects. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Requires experience managing cross-function projects of medium complexity with an understanding of the business issues related to accounting/financial systems, and related software implementations or solutioning of complex
back-office business problems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer focused orientation.
Finance/accounting or business systems knowledge.
Demonstrated skill with project management software.

Preferred Qualifications: Manages department project portfolio, including Project demand intake and reporting. Communications (written and verbal), Organization, Critical thinking.
Pay Transparency: This position is located in Memphis, TN. This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location two to four days per week.
Pay: The pay range for Memphis, TN. is: Minimum: $6,511.62 Mid $8,627.89 Maximum $10,744.16
