Job Description Summary:
- Leads overall solution development as the key interface with Sales, Engineering/Operations, Technology, and other internal resources to align deliverables with overall project goals throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and implement supply chain solutions in support of internal/external customers and/or corporate initiatives.
- Provide guidance and recommendations that supports the sales process and improves the organization's ability to differentiate and add value to the overall solution and sales strategy for both new and existing customers.
- Provide supply chain improvement recommendations evaluating the customer supply chain network while applying fact-based analysis and knowledge in transportation modes (parcel, LTL/TL, air freight, ocean, rail) and global shipping requirements.
- Evaluate customer business needs and industry insights to establish high-level strategy to execute supply chain improvements based on the services and capabilities offered by utilizing Quality tools and processes.
- Lead multiple complex assignments concurrently while working individually and/or leading peer/cross functional teams with internal/external customer interaction.
- Lead brainstorming, review sessions to develop recommendations while ensuring industry best practices and methods are applied to projects.
- Mentors and provides guidance to less senior team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strong background in regional and global supply chain consulting. Candidates should be able to view situations from the customer’s perspective and demonstrate the FedEx value proposition to drive revenue growth.
- Advanced presentation skills are critical. Candidates must be able to present polished, technical, or financial information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership (Officers/VPs).
- High levels of Initiative and Adaptability/Flexibility, especially when project specifications change significantly without deadline extensions.
- Ability to develop comprehensive project plans, align resources, and drive multiple complex projects concurrently under strict timelines.
- Experience in leading end-to-end cross-functional projects, fostering inclusion, and motivating teams toward goal completion.
- Analytical Project Management experience.
- Ability to take large amounts of information and create recommendations.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent in quantitative business or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years business experience in a supply chain related field to include designing, maintaining, and/or implementation of solutions to complex business situations. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to project manage and work on multiple assignments concurrently.
- Ability to present solutions to customers and leadership. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
- Advanced skills with business software, spreadsheet applications and presentation applications.
- Embraces learning and continual improvement.

- This position will be in Atlanta, Georgia.
