Description

Research, plans, coordinates, and administers advanced technical aircraft projects that cross departmental or divisional lines; to function as flight operations representative at industry and FAA forums. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of regulatory changes and coordinates changes for the Director of Operations with the FAA.

  • Serves as primary liaison between regulatory agencies throughout the world and industry associations and organizations.

  • Coordinates and supervises the preparation of all documentation submitted to the FAA for Operations Specification changes.

  • Works with all departments to ensure timely handling and full compliance as directed by the company Operating Specifications.

  • Responds to request for information for the local and Head Quarters FAA on behalf of the Director of Operations.


Minimum Education

Master’s degree/equivalent in aviation, science, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Twelve (12) Years Related Experience in Aviation Flight Operations or Airline/Aircraft Manufacturing Programs or Aircraft Operations Procedures Management.

Airline Transport Pilot Rating or Military Pilot/ Flight Officer Rating and Flying Experience. Formal Education or Occupational Experience in Program Management/Operations Analysis.

Familiarization with Operations Specifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical and communications skills.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $7488.36 to $9922.08 Monthly
