Description

The position will actively provide international forwarding and supply chain office support to meet warehouse operational needs. Provide world class customer service and solutions in order to ensure complete customers’ satisfaction.

  • Provide and ensure a high level of customer service by developing and maintaining a strong relationship with customers
  • Support all inbound and outbound office functions to include distribution, cross-dock, CFS, and FTZ.
  • Assist with the implementation of new clients on current warehouse management system and set up initial processes for customer service activities and client invoicing
  • Manage the accuracy and integrity of CFS, FTZ and other business documents throughout the document’s life cycle, which includes filing, retrieving and archiving
  • Ensure invoice are accuracy and timely in accordance with the customer's most recent rate agreement.
  • Assist in auditing cost sheets to ensure AS400 entries are accurate and that all back up supporting documents for invoicing are filled correctly
  • Ability to coordinate and carry out warehouse and gateway activities efficiently.
  • Help support and resolve transportation and invoicing issues with customers
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure necessary information, reports, and status updates are provided
  • Resolve customer issues within the warehouse SOP, customer rate agreement and company policy guidelines
  • Provide cross-support and coverage when required
  • Involved directly in billing activities
  • Responsible for review and submission for approval of vendor payables . Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Three (3) years of relevant operational warehouse experience
  • Three (3) years or more of international freight forwarding and warehouse operations experience preferred
  • Strong customer service, organizational & communication (written/oral) skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), specifically with Excel.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Pay range: $17.28 - $31.86
