General Summary
Supports the development and execution of an organization's strategic initiatives by providing critical administrative, analytical, and project management assistance. This role involves working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align the organization's efforts with long-term business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and facilitating strategic planning sessions, including preparing agendas, coordinating meetings, and capturing key takeaways and action items.
- Monitor and track progress on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Perform data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies.
- Research market trends, industry standards, and competitor strategies to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Compile data into reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure projects remain aligned with the organization’s strategy.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of strategy-related projects, including status updates, performance reports, and communication plans.
- Assist in Identifying gaps in current business processes that may hinder the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Assist Identifying potential risks that could impact the execution of business objectives and propose mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and memos for board meetings, leadership updates, and company-wide communications.
- Propose and support the development of process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency and performance.
- Track and report on financial performance related to strategic projects and initiatives.
- Assist in forecasting financial outcomes and making recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
- Stay informed about external factors such as market conditions, industry shifts, and regulatory changes that could affect the company’s strategy.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- One to two years in project management, business administration or similar.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Understanding of financial planning and budget management.
- Ability to think critically about business goals and objectives and align operational tasks to support long-term strategic objectives.
- Ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and derive insights to inform decision-making.
- Accuracy in preparing reports, tracking project progress, and monitoring strategic initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and facilitate cooperation.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting demands in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
General office environment that is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.
