Strategic Program Management Lead
Description
Lead various design-through-delivery phases of complex functional programs, collaborating and consulting across multiple teams and organizations to ensure successful outcomes. Perform an advanced level of duties, including project management, research, strategic development and planning, metric reporting and analysis, QDM management, policy development, Human Resource (HR) internal customer and vendor interfacing and marketing of projects/programs.
Position Overview:
- Global program management lead will focus on areas such as performance-based merit, incentive/variable pay, market research, job and pay structures, reward and recognition, etc., and include strategy, design, development, and implementation/oversight responsibilities. Demonstrated mastery in Compensation core administration, complex analysis, and progressive pay program and/or project leadership required.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with the development and implementation of the functional vision and strategies to include employee engagement, process review and oversight, policy development, department marketing, vendor management, QDM management and/or other program activities.
- Lead multiple programs, including design and development for new or changing needs. Ensure policies, processes, and education, etc., are identified, assigned, completed and implemented. Follow-up and coordinate activities and assignments, as required.
- Act as an advisor to management groups, project teams and all internal customers. Works with HR, leadership, and other stakeholders to provide guidance on compensation-related programs and decisions.
- Analyze internal data and market trends to develop recommendations, impact analysis, and information on programs, practices and procedures.
- Lead project teams, ensuring results are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Analyze organizational and functional needs and provide strategies and execution plan recommendations required to meet identified results.
- Review new technology opportunities and/or system enhancements and assist in the development and implementation of process automation.
- Responsible for preparation and delivery of formal management reports and presentations as required on projects.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work/Domicile Location:
- This position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
Relocation:

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, human resources, behavioral science, or other directly related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
Seven (7) years’ work experience and demonstrated proficiency in human resources; compensation or benefit program ownership; project management; strategic development, planning, and analysis; or related areas
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., and working knowledge of data visualization software.
Strong human relations, leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
Ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of management and employees.
Experience with financial analysis and reporting associated with broad programs or large-scale planning processes.
High degree of adaptability to meet changing needs.
Knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, methodologies, and techniques.
Demonstrated mastery in the core area of the position which may include, but is not limited to, human resources, recruitment, employment, compensation administration, benefits administration, employee relations, management development, etc
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced analytical skills, progressive experience with program management, process or project ownership to help lead projects such as merit harmonization, AIC revamp and a Five Star global process.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
