Essential Functions
About the Role - We are seeking a Strategy Planning Advisor (SPA) to report to the Managing Director of Visibility Experience. This strategic role is essential in driving operational excellence and key initiatives across a large, dynamic organization. The SPA will be instrumental in enhancing leadership effectiveness, ensuring the successful delivery of our most critical commercial and modernization programs, and providing the operational backbone required for the Visibility Experience organization to operate seamlessly and efficiently.
Role-Specific Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison to our Visibility product partners, supporting a wide range of solutions including multiple commercialized tracking products.
- Function as the program manager for critical initiatives, including numerous modernization initiatives for commercial and consumer tracking, and the tech modernization, including cloud migration activities.
- Act as a key advisor to the Managing Director and provide direct support to the leadership team.
- Liaise with the GDIT chief of staff, providing required financial data, headcount updates, and special project status reports to the VP/SVP office.
- Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analysis and other studies.
- Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives.
- Develops concepts into strategies including quantitative analyses and recommendations; screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability prior to presentation to senior management.
- Identifies, researches, analyzes and makes recommendations to support the organization's growth objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.
Domicile Location
This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories, however if you live within the 50 miles radius of a campus you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week.
