Summary: 

Under limited supervision, provides leadership in the development of the organization's strategic plan(s) 

 

Additional Summary: 

Successful professionals in this organization specialize in dealing with ambiguity, taking new ideas from concept to execution, leveraging multiple sources of data to develop strategic recommendations, project managing large initiatives, and successfully communicating (both written and verbally) with senior leaders. Additionally, collaboration both within and outside of the InfoSec organization, including partnering with other functions across the FedEx Enterprise to include, but not limited to: Data and Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Communications, Legal, and others. 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning, analysis and other studies. 
  • Develops concepts into strategies including quantitative analysis and recommendations; screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability, prior to presentation to senior management. 
  • Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives. 
  • Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as required. Identifies, researches, analyzes, and makes 
  • recommendations to support the organization’s growth objectives. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 


Key Responsibilities include: 


Strategic Decision Making: 

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to inform strategic project decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives. 
  • Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate different project scenarios to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities. 
  • Innovation: Encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving within the project team to overcome obstacles and enhance project outcomes. 

Change Management: 

  • Change Control: Implement change management processes to handle project changes systematically and minimize disruption. 
  • Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of changes on project scope, timeline, and budget, and communicate findings to stakeholders. 
  • Adaptability: Ensure the project team is adaptable and responsive to changing project requirements and external conditions. 

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Stakeholder Identification: Identify and engage all relevant stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, vendors, and executives. 
  • Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met. 
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise between stakeholders. 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: 

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables. 
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement. 
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.





Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) or more years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement or market/competitive analysis. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills. Strong communications and human relations skills.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) or more years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement or market/competitive analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills.

Strong communications and human relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications:  

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement

Pay: US pay range: $8,007.29 - $18,149.85 monthly
