Overview:

Provides leadership on large projects and program efforts that support divisional and executive management strategies. Works with cross-functional teams to facilitate and assist in the prioritization of projects, the relationship of the projects to business needs, and communication of information, both internally and externally.

 

Job Specific Information:

Chief of Staff position assists the SVP to set, manage, and achieve the annual goals and objectives. This position works closely with the Leadership team and cross-functional business partners to facilitate and assist in the prioritization of projects, project management, and communication of information, both internally and externally. Responsible for: managing cross-functional enterprise-wide timelines and deliverables; developing strategic communications and presentations; and providing sole leadership on special projects as assigned including strategic growth priorities and organizational development initiatives. PMO for multiple executive leadership forums and SVP staff meetings. Experience leading complex and interrelated initiatives in a corporate environment with a customer focused orientation



Under limited supervision, provides leadership in the development of the organization's strategic plan(s).

Essential Functions

  • Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning, analysis and other studies.
  • Develops concepts into strategies including quantitative analysis and recommendations; screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability, prior to presentation to senior management.
  • Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives.
  • Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as required. Identifies, researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations to support the organizations growth objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) or more years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement or market/competitive analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills.

Strong communications and human relations skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Acts in a Chief of Staff capacity, to help oversee cross-functional priorities, manage information flow, and enables decision-making at the highest level.
  • Develop concepts into strategies, including quantitative analysis, and recommendations.
  • Screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability, prior to presentation to senior management.
  • Manages input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, global and multi-discipline perspectives.
  • Responsible for managing human capital forecasting needs.
  • Manages portfolios of projects held by the organization.
  • Presents information regarding strategic plans and initiatives to senior and executive management.
  • Supporting the executive in identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities
  • Conduct research and scenario planning
  • Evaluate proposals and initiatives on behalf of the executive
  • Prepare the executive for critical internal and external engagements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Details: This hybrid position will be domiciled in Memphis,TN reporting to SVP Jessica Bradford. Compensation Grade: FEC_E28. Relocation assistance may be provided based on business needs.
