Supervisor, Maintenance
The Supervisor, Maintenance is responsible for providing daily direction to maintenance department teammates, overseeing facility equipment reliability, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting production and quality goals. This role ensures operational efficiency through preventative maintenance, technical repairs, and team leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise at least two full-time direct reports, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and productivity oversight.
- Provide day-to-day direction to maintenance department employees.
- Oversee the facility safety/training lead and ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Maintain facility equipment and systems through preventative maintenance programs.
- Support maintenance, facilities, and operations teams in achieving reliability goals.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and technical repairs as needed.
- Conduct safety and maintenance training for staff.
- Repair machinery and maintain accurate preventative maintenance documentation.
- Assist in controlling costs related to maintenance, sanitation, and operations supplies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Recommend measures to improve team productivity and equipment performance.
