Supervisor, Rating
Description
Responsible for the analysis of audit data, process improvement, customer escalations and the supervision of the Rating team
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as first point of contact for team members and customer escalations on complex inquiries
• Investigate, identify, monitor and reconcile audit discrepancies to ensure rating accuracy
• Implement best practices to gather, review, and record required audit information
• Supervise associates, mentor and coach as needed
• Work with the pricing department to address rating/pricing concerns, accuracy and implementation
• Ensure rates are completed in chronological order by time and in a timely manner
• Prepare and document all weekly meetings
• Draft and communicate SOPs and procedures for department, and keep them up-to-date consistently
• Prepare and analyze regularly scheduled and adhoc reports
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Post-secondary diploma, required
• Three (3) years’ of work experience in transportation
• Previous leadership experience
• Ability to read, understand and apply terms and conditions from bills of lading, customer agreements, and FedEx tariff
• Demonstrated ability to work with high volume of workload while maintaining focus and high accuracy results
• Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, including excellent attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as, strong ability to coach, persuade, collaborate, and partner with all levels within the organization
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, PowerPoint)
• Ability/willingness to learn new applications, software, systems, and equipment as required
• Ability to manage competing and changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to take initiate and self-motivate to learn new skills
• Professional verbal, reading and written communication skills
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec
