Sustainability Strategy Advisor
Description
As part of the Enterprise Sustainability team, supports enterprise sustainability initiatives by developing and implementing sustainability strategies, policies and analytics to be used by relevant stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports enterprise sustainability initiatives by developing and implementing sustainability strategies, policies and analytics to be used by relevant stakeholders.
Partners cross-functionally with various stakeholders driving strategic initiatives related to environmental sustainability at the Company to ensure alignment between corporate strategy/ initiatives and sustainability disclosures.
Monitors sustainability related industry trends and regulatory landscape to provide strategic sustainability recommendations, ensure reporting integrity, communicate information to relevant stakeholders, and implement required changes to sustainability policies, practices, and processes.
Engages with Sales and customers to aid in addressing strategic sustainability matters including business reviews and customer surveys, as needed.
Assists Marketing and Communications with the development of key sustainability content and messaging, as needed
Assists in analyzing and reporting sustainability performance to FedEx Sustainability Leadership Action Committee (SLAC) and other management stakeholders.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) years professional experience in areas including but not limited to sustainability, environmental science or engineering, finance, business or related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated leadership, analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to navigate uncertainty, work in a fast-paced environment and complete deliverables within established deadlines.
Strong written & verbal communication, analytical and program management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Sustainability certifications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Data Analytics skills, Experience managing large amounts of data, Power BI
Pay Transparency: The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location or locations. Actual pay is determined by several job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.
Pay: $5,369.60 - $10,739.19 USD Monthly
Additional Details: This position is eligible for telecommuting and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories. This position is not eligible for relocation.
