Grade - 13P

  • Plans, organises, and directs the tax planning, research & compliance activities that supports the achievement of the most desirable tax results for the business whilst complying with all legal requirements & regulations.
  • Managing end-to-end compliance activity under GST which includes filing of computation of GST liabilities, appropriate tax payments, filing of monthly / annual GST returns
  • Advising on various queries raised by vendors, customers, internal teams on matters concerning GST
  • Able to bring efficiencies in working capital and other ITC areas
  • Have handled GST refund applications related to export / SEZ turnover.
  • Filing of Income tax returns and managing the transfer pricing compliances of big corporates.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in providing advice and specific recommendations related to direct taxes / transfer pricing.
  • Involved in preparation of the segmental workings from the transfer pricing perspective.
  • Handling various direct tax and transfer pricing assessments as initiated under various direct tax laws.
  • Detailed scrutiny / examination of the notices / letters, including show-cause notice / demand notices issued by tax authorities under Indirect Taxes, drafting / finalizing the replies, making appropriate submissions, attending the hearings in these matters.
  • Liaison / collaboration with the legal counsels / tax consultants engaged by the company on various tax matters
  • Safeguarding interest of the company by monitoring the tax risks, taking appropriate mitigative action and minimizing the tax costs / bring opportunities for savings.
  • Updating oneself on the law amendments, procedures / regulations, case laws and advising internal teams for timely action.
  • Develops and recommends standards & processes for controlling the effective storage & retrieval of tax related documentation. Creates & maintains required tax documentation and related paperwork, in the required formats to meet both FedEx & statutory requirements.
  • Render due support on advocacy topics / representation before the Government bodies directly or thru industry forums.

  • CA – 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience of handling complex PAN India GST compliances involving bulky data
  • Preference would be given to the candidates who have also handled direct tax and transfer pricing related compliances
  • Exceptional understanding / interpretation of laws, excellent drafting skillsets, communication and IT skills, analytical skills
  • Ethical / self-starter / initiative driven, collaborative and team building approach, agile / promptness in response, ready to take challenging tasks to meet realistic objectives, positive attitude towards work and responsibilities,
  • Sensitive and flexible to meet statutory and internal deadlines
