Job Title: Technical Specialist Lead

Location: 40 FedEx Parkway, Collierville, TN 38017

Job Description: Provides leadership and consultation in a team based, customer-oriented environment. Responsible for performing technical support, planning, maintenance, testing, or implementation of electronic technology.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment. in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* plus 5 years of experience.  The position requires experience with: Enterprise scale deployment & SAS GRID and Viya in Windows/Linux environments; In-depth knowledge and experience in SAS Foundation 9.4, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Metadata & EBI Server 9.4, SAS GRID 9.4, and Platform LSF Suite; Major transformation efforts from SAS GRID to SAS Viya and SAS to Azure Databricks both in Colo and Cloud; SAS Administration for High Availability within GRID environment including Metadata, Mid-Tier Servers, and GRID Control Servers; Designing and developing SAS dashboards in Power BI; Extensive experience databases like Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server by using the SAS Management Tool; Converting SAS AI/ML programs to Azure Databricks PySpark environment; Change management tools like ServiceNow, and site reliability engineering principles. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Collierville, TN.
