Trans Solutions Analyst
Description
Leads collaborative efforts to optimize facilities network, establish robust lifecycle project management. Ensures compliance with regulations and policies.
Essential Functions
- Provides direction and execution strategies for daily line haul network movement during disruptions.
- Support cross-Opco collaboration, and analyze data to improve processes.
- Develop and implement non-traditional LTL solutions, collaborate with various departments to exceed customer expectations, and analyze operations data to provide strategic solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelors Degree/Equivalent in transportation, business, or analytics. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years experience in business, logistics, analytics, or transportation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Stong communication and written skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Office 365.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Operations (P&D, Dock, etc.) and Transportation (Linehaul, Purchased Transportation). Knowledge of LTL and TL marketplace, Rules Tariff, HazMat, DOT, internal procedures and other regulations.
