Vehicle & GSE Specialist - Fleet Administrator

What you’ll be working on
Working with the Fleet team and reporting to the Senior Manager Vehicles and Ground Support Equipment, you will drive contract management and supplier relationships and assist in fleet planning & development. Assist with planning projects with the objective to ensure service and operations excellence, increase revenue and enhance customer experience with the objective to achieve FedEx productivity and service goals.
- Drive contract and vendor management for vehicle and ground support equipment fleet operations
- Develop and review fleet usage and assist with building operating plans to attain service and productivity goals.
- Administration of vehicle and equipment operational telemetric systems.
- Assist with interpreting asset technical specifications across the existing fleets and with new technologies, including electric vehicles, that help FedEx meet our sustainability goals for reducing carbon emissions.
- Work with project teams for introducing new assets, including new technology vehicles and equipment, as well as the associated infrastructure for electric vehicles.
- Ensure that all safety, operational, and compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Interpret data on historical trends of fleet costs, conduct operational and cost impact analysis for new programs/services and market/operational expansion.
- Analyse, recommend and implement ways to improve service and cost performance within the responsible area, research, and benchmark best practices.
- Identify needs, develop, and implement contingency plans within the service areas for crisis management or long-term usage in order to minimize risks, costs and operational impact to APAC operations and protect FedEx’s employees and properties.

What you’ll bring to the team
- Qualifications and/or experience in Fleet Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with vehicle telematics desirable
- Advanced level proficiency with Power BI, MS Excel.
- Proven vendor and contract management skills
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as autonomously when required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels from frontline to senior managers and directors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automobile engineering or related fields
Experience: Five (5) years work experience in fleet administration, business and maintenance planning and analysis
