Description
As the Vice President of Strategy for GCCs, you lead the strategic design, development, and execution of a multi-year roadmap that encompasses the global strategy for the company’s capability centers worldwide. This role will serve as a critical thought partner to executive leadership, aligning GCS (global capability strategy) initiatives to business priorities, and ensuring we unlock long-term value through scalable, globally consistent, and future-ready capabilities.
You will oversee enterprise diagnostics, opportunity identification, cross-functional alignment, and implementation planning across mega-processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with a proven ability to drive transformation at scale, translate insights into actionable plans, ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, and influence across matrixed, global organizations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with the GCC executive leadership to strategically design and continuously update a scalable, future-ready GCC strategy.
- Define and evolve the strategic direction of our capabilities through analyzing regional/global market trends, performance metrics, and industry best practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and value goals.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to enhance capabilities, drive competitive advantage, and position company’s capabilities as leaders in the industry.
- Partner with senior leadership across business units to expand capabilities, and identify capability gaps, opportunities, and transformation levers.
- Lead cross-functional teams in setting up new GCCs or expanding existing capabilities – covering governance, operations, talent acquisition, and delivery models.
- Implement frameworks and metrics to assess and improve capability performance ensuring operational excellence, high client satisfaction rates, and strong delivery performance.
- Maintain financial accountability for GCC initiatives; optimizing profitability through value-based delivery, cost management, and capability expansion.
- Drive integration and prioritization of cross-functional projects to ensure cohesive execution and maximized ROI.
- Translate complex data and diagnostics into actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a champion for global consistency. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through training programs, knowledge sharing, and centers of excellence.
- Build and lead a high-performing GCC strategy team setting clear goals, KPIs, and career paths while fostering an environment that encourages continuous improvement, professional growth, and development.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of experience in leading strategic initiatives, operations, or P&L roles in GCCs or shared services centers
Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives in global or matrixed environments
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect capability strategy to operational and financial outcomes
Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; comfortable presenting to C-suite stakeholders
Strong analytical, data-driven, problem-solving, and digitally savvy mindset with comfort leading digital and analytics transformations
Experience in capability or workforce strategy, organizational design, or enterprise transformation
Proven experience setting up or growing GCCs – including strategic planning and execution in key regions
Familiarity with modern shared-services governance models and delivery frameworks
Exposure to emerging technologies (AI, cloud, automation), and GCC trends
