Shift: Monday through Friday 7AM to 3PM
Location: Couchville Pike. Mount Juliet, TN

Workflow Planner II

The Workflow Planner II is responsible for maintaining the continuous flow of product from vendors to customers, specifically supporting the picking, shipping, and receiving functions of the facility. This role ensures operational efficiency, timely execution, and adherence to customer requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Schedule all inbound and outbound orders in company systems.
  • Coordinate order processing across all relevant systems and personnel.
  • Direct the flow of vessels between the yard and dock doors.
  • Independently coordinate workflow to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate potential risks and issues to the leadership team.
  • Manage internal work assignments including truck movements and ATLS trailer coordination with the plant.
  • Impact cost and service through organized multitasking and timely execution.
  • Manage order change processes in accordance with customer guidelines.
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge of customer WMS and job functions.
  • Prioritize and monitor daily workload to ensure timely completion and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain records for inbound and outbound deliveries; assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure complete and accurate information is communicated to the next shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with materials handling and radio frequency equipment.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
