What you will do
We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology transformation initiatives that align with FedEx’s global transformation strategy. This role will focus on planning, executing, and closing multiple projects that drive operational efficiency, improve shipment visibility, and enable digital process integration across gateways and hubs in Asia Pacific. The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, data-driven decision-making ability, and proven success in delivering measurable business impact through technology.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology-driven transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable results.
Identify opportunities in gateways and ramps to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, improve service, and scale them into full end-to-end projects.
Drive cross-functional international teams (IT, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, Vendors) through the full project lifecycle.
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, and oversee execution from initiation to post-implementation review.
Act as the primary communication bridge between leadership, regional teams, and technical stakeholders.
Oversee design, testing, and deployment of new systems, ensuring smooth integration with existing FedEx processes.
Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and safeguard operational continuity during transformation.
Develop annual business plans, multi-year outlooks, and Ground/Air Network roadmaps.
Manage vendors, including service-level agreements, risks, and dependencies, with effective mitigation strategies.
Align short-, medium-, and long-term plans with stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
Publish weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports with executive summaries, pain points, and clear next steps.
Represent the team in internal forums with senior leadership across multiple functions.
Foster collaboration and a positive work environment within cross-functional teams.
Conduct program evaluations, capture lessons learned, and implement corrective actions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Use data analytics to validate findings, identify root causes, and propose effective, sustainable solutions.
You will be a great fit if you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of work experience in industrial engineering, operations, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record as a Project or Program Manager with measurable business results.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics tools (Power BI, Spotfire) and reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Planner, etc.).
- High level of integrity, autonomy, and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
