Advisor-Corporate Finance
Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Develops and executes all global secured and unsecured debt financing activities, including public bond issues, tax-exempt bond issues, bank financings, and private placements. Coordinates financing tactics and strategies to meet the company’s on-going liquidity needs. Plan and carry out long-term strategies as well as working capital programs such as leasing, equipment financing, commercial paper, and factoring. Manage credit ratings to ensure efficient cost of capital. They periodically help with financing any M&A activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help plan, organize, direct and control all global secured and unsecured debt and credit financing activities, including public bond issues, tax-exempt bond issues, bank financings, private placements, vehicle/property financing, etc.
Maintain covenant compliance
Maximize working capital through employing and optimizing sources of funds, including but not limited to commercial paper and securitization
Manage the company's collateral needs in the most cost effective manner
Responsible for treasury management system for Corporate Finance, overseeing debt service and related accounting
Forecast regular cash and liquidity needs as well as leasing impacts to taxes and financial statements
Establish and maintain treasury-related reporting metrics and dashboards
Prepare materials for investors, rating agencies, executives, and BOD to accurately depict the FedEx Freight business
Lead other special projects as directed
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, risk management, accounting or business or equivalent.
- Five (5) years professional experience in a finance function required, or combination of three (3) years professional experience with graduate degree in finance or related field
- Familiarity with spreadsheet modeling and other business-related computer applications
- Strong analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills required

Additional Details: This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
