POSITION OVERVIEW:

Without considerable direction, leads, plans, recommends and executes initiatives concerning highly complex and sensitive marketing and communications strategies.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Resolves problems/issues applying expertise in related principles/theories/concepts and technologies, frequently requiring use of creativity.
2.    Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.
3.    Uses judgment within defined policies and practices to accomplish objectives.
4.    Determines and pursues sources of action essential in obtaining desired outcomes.
5.    For assigned projects, recommends project budgets and forecasts anticipated budget spending.
6.    Routinely provides expert consultation to senior leadership.
7.    Coaches others in less senior positions.
8.    Complies with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
9.    Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, marketing, market research, communications, journalism, public relations, design, computer science, management information systems (MIS), finance or a quantitative field or related business discipline.
•    Five (5) years experience in marketing, advertising, institutional or corporate communications or related discipline.
•    More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.
•    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Good organizational, quantitative and analytical skills.
•    Proven ability to analyze complex and disparate data and broad business strategies and convert into specific, practical, effective marketing
•    and communication strategies and tactics.
•    Good human relations and communication/presentation skills.
