Assoc Process Improvement Analyst
Description
The job entails assisting in the identification, review, and analysis of cross-divisional problems, issues, and concerns related to strategic business issues assigned by senior management. The primary responsibilities of the role include accumulating, coordinating, and organizing data for analysis, observation, and documentation of operational and business processes.
Essential Functions
Accumulates, coordinates and organizes data for analysis, observation and documentation of operational and business processes.
Assists in the preparation of print media and other communications for educating and promoting awareness of process improvement actions/ programs and metrics.
Assists project lead in the development of applications and formulation of recommendations that will contribute to the achievement of divisional strategic business plans.
Assists in preparing presentations to management up to and including managing directors.
Assists management in the development of process improvement and critical metrics, if necessary.
Assists project leader in implementing process improvement changes/ programs and instituting critical metrics, if necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience
Professional experience in management consulting, operations management, internal audit, finance, engineering or information systems analysis/ planning.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong analytical tools such as computer programming, personal computer (PC) software packages, statistics and mainframe system applications.
