Process Improvement Analyst
Description
The job entails assisting in the identification and resolution of cross-divisional issues related to strategic business matters assigned by senior management. The primary responsibilities include analyzing, observing, and documenting operational and business processes, assisting in the preparation of educational materials and communications to promote process improvement actions and metrics, and utilizing metrics and statistical analysis to define problems and solutions.
Essential Functions
Analyzes, observes and documents operational and business processes.
Assists in the preparation of print media and other communications for educating and promoting awareness of process improvement actions and metrics.
Utilizes metrics and statistical analysis in the definition of problems and solutions. Studies advanced business concepts and benchmark companies.
Assists in the development of applications and formulation of recommendations that will contribute to the achievement of divisional strategic business plans prepares and/or makes presentations to management up to and including vice presidents.
Assists management in implementing process improvement changes and instituting critical metrics, if necessary.
Participates on cross divisional teams to identify and realize high leverage improvement opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or computer science required. Related experience may offset degree requirements.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years professional experience in management consulting, operations management, internal audit, finance, engineering, or information systems analysis/planning required. Additional related skills, education/degree may offset experience requirements.
