Business Systems Advisor
Description
- Provides expertise in the development of information systems plans matched to business requirements.
- Leads and manages systems development, testing, controls, programs and projects.
- Leads decision-support analysis and implement information business services.
- Develops measurements of performance and value creation.
- Leads the requirements gathering and configuration establishment for licensed, vendor-packaged business software systems, as applicable.
- Supports, maintains and/or administers implemented business system solutions, as deemed necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Master’s degree in quantitative business degree, supply chain management, information systems, or a related discipline plus 3 years business or systems experience which includes systems program management, matching business requirements to supporting systems requirements. As an equivalent alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quantitative business degree, supply chain management, information systems, or a related discipline plus 5 years business or systems experience which includes systems program management, matching business requirements to supporting systems requirements.
Requirements
The position requires experience with:
- Customer & Operational Performance Analytics on enterprise-scale datasets
- Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Advanced SQL & Database Management
- Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning
- Statistical Modeling and Experimentation
- Python for Data Analytics & Automation
- Cloud Data Platforms & Big Data Technologies (E.g. Azure, Databricks, Pyspark)
- Data Quality Validation
- Software design/development, systems training, systems training, application testing, systems migration and integration, or developing business user systems requirements.
- Experience with either technology assessments, decision support, information business services, network design, database design and software requirements definitions.
- Must be able to analyze business operations and develop automated solutions.
- Must possess strong human relations and communication skills, planning, and organizing abilities.
- Will be expected to collaborate with system users and technical developers.
- This position is eligible for telecommuting and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories.
