The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst serves as a subject matter expert within Accounts Payable, managing complex
transactions and acting as a key escalation point for the team. This role requires strong judgment, advanced stakeholder
interaction, and active involvement in escalated support cases across the Americas region.

Key Skills & Competencies · Demonstrates enterprise‑level AP expertise, applying strategic judgment to independently manage complex and high‑risk transactions while anticipating upstream and downstream impacts across the P2P and financial ecosystem. · Serves as a trusted escalation leader, resolving complex issues through structured analysis, clear decision‑making, and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse stakeholders. · Builds strong cross‑functional relationships and engages regional, operational, and leadership partners with professionalism, ensuring sensitive or urgent payment matters are handled with transparency, composure, and credibility. · Embodies a controls‑driven mindset, proactively identifying compliance risks, reinforcing SOX and regulatory requirements, and elevating the overall control posture of the AP function. · Demonstrates operational agility, managing urgent or manual payment scenarios with discipline, sound risk assessment, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure. · Applies advanced analytical thinking to identify structural patterns in escalations or backlog drivers and converts insights into targeted, value‑adding recommendations that strengthen process integrity and efficiency. · Acts as a change advocate, contributing to process and documentation modernization efforts and influencing standardization by connecting operational realities to broader strategic goals. · Demonstrates people leadership and talent development, coaching junior team members, modeling high‑performance behaviors, and strengthening the overall capability and maturity of the AP function. · Demonstrates advanced stakeholder influence and executive‑level communication, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences, driving alignment across functions, and establishing trust and clarity at all levels of leadership Required Qualifications (Must-Have) · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. · 5–7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or accounting operations. · Fluent English (written and verbal) – mandatory for senior stakeholder interaction. · Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis). · Strong experience handling escalations, complex vendors, and stakeholder-driven issues. · Solid understanding of AP controls, compliance, and end-to-end AP processes. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) · Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud AP. · Experience supporting multi-country or Americas-wide operations. · Background in shared services, center of excellence, or regional AP teams.
