POSITION OVERVIEW:
Serves as a senior strategic advisor to the Marketing, Digital, Strategy and Product leadership team, guiding the development, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing and product strategies that drive revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, enhance customer acquisition and retention, and accelerate go-to-market performance within the Less Than Truckload (LTL) transportation sector.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan, organize, and coordinate marketing and product initiatives, using market analysis, campaign optimization, product positioning, project management, and data-driven insights to guide strategy.
2. Advise executive leadership on marketing performance, product market fit, competitive dynamics, and emerging growth opportunities within the LTL and broader logistics market.
3. Provide strategic counsel on special projects focused on accelerating revenue growth, improving marketing ROI, and strengthening product differentiation.
4. Direct and support marketing and product leaders on strategic and tactical planning, ensuring alignment across brand, demand generation, product development, and go to market execution.
5. Oversee strategic marketing and product improvement initiatives, including evaluating and implementing new marketing technologies, automation platforms, and product enhancements that drive measurable business outcomes.
6. Identify growth opportunities and leverage marketing technology, analytics, and product insights to optimize campaign performance, customer lifecycle management, and revenue attribution.
7. Design and implement innovative solutions to complex marketing and product challenges, working independently and with cross functional teams.
8. Ensure compliance with marketing standards, brand guidelines, product requirements, and relevant regulatory considerations.
9. Serve as a strategic liaison between Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations, Pricing, IT, and customers to maintain cohesive go to market alignment.
10. Partner with Sales, Pricing, Operations, Network Planning, and Technology teams to integrate marketing and product initiatives that are customer centric and aligned with commercial objectives.
11. Lead both long term strategic and short term tactical marketing and product change initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and measurable impact.
12. Contribute to the development of tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that enhance performance across demand generation, customer engagement, product adoption, and revenue contribution.
13. Act as a primary point of contact for field and corporate teams regarding marketing strategy, product positioning, campaign execution, and go to market processes.
14. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing, product or equivalent work experience
• Seven (7) years’ experience in project and operational leadership, including evaluating, planning, and implementing customer experience improvements
• Demonstrated experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ABM tools, Google Analytics) and product management tools
• Strong background in demand generation, performance marketing, brand strategy, and/or product marketing with measurable revenue impact
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization; strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
• Strong leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional marketing and product initiatives from strategy through execution
• Ability to create, prepare, and present marketing performance reports, competitive analyses, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with a customer-centric, revenue-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable marketing and analytics platforms
