Sr Tax Analyst

This is an interview position.
Performs tax work in the Canadian tax shared services centre for Canadian FedEx operating entities. The Sr Tax Analyst is responsible to review, analyze, classify, ensure completion and compliance of the corporation’s tax obligations in accordance with state, federal and international laws leveraging specific tax knowledge and technological advances.
Participates in Canadian tax audits and collaborates with the business on all Canadian tax matters relating to the FedEx Canada group of companies.

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Related Experience
• Accounting - 4 years
- Direct experience working in Canadian Tax with a public accounting firm or in a Tax Department of a large publicly traded company
Computer/Technical Skills
- Microsoft Excel - Standard
- Microsoft Word - Standard
- Microsoft Power Point - Standard
- PeopleSoft - (Preferred)
- Oracle - (Preferred)
- Solid understanding of US GAAP – Accounting for Income Taxes

Le titulaire qui réside dans la province de Québec doit être bilingue (français et anglais). En plus des facteurs habituels faisant partie du processus de sélection, tout candidat à un poste exigeant la conduite d’un véhicule comme compétence de base doit posséder un permis de conduire valide (p. ex. de classe 5, G, ou 1 AZ) et un dossier de conduite affichant un maximum de deux infractions et / ou accidents au cours des 24 mois précédant la date de candidature. Les candidats feront en outre l’objet d’une évaluation basée sur l’examen approfondi :
- de leur dossier de conduite courant,
- des résultats de leur entrevue et
- des résultats de toute évaluation de leurs compétences de conducteur.
