FedEx is recruiting for the position of a Cybersecurity Architect Principal within the Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture team. This team supports all aspects of the FedEx information security strategy, design and planning.
The Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture Team are responsible for defining the technical and strategic road maps for the FedEx Information Security organisation as well as supporting our internal and external customer requests for architectural support and security guidance across the enterprise.

What you will be doing:
Main roles and responsibilities are:
- Produces the high level security design patterns and security architecture documentation, covering documented descriptions of the security management procedures, processes, information flows and integrations
- Lead the process of product evaluations, proof of concepts / value and work with key stakeholders on the review and selection process
- Drive the delivery of architectural modelling and documentation of the FedEx Cyber Security products and services against selected frameworks
- Drive the delivery of technical architecture documentation of high level designs for specific technical solutions covering the functional and non-functional requirements
- Ensures that all FedEx corporate standards are adhered to in the security design process
- Obtain knowledge and information on Cybersecurity industry best practice both for products which FedEx own and new / emerging technologies and services
- Support the development of and documentation of standard solution and design patterns for the deployment of FedEx security products and services
- Provide technical and solution architectural guidance to teams and team members within the FedEx Information Security Organisation as well as internal business stakeholder groups outside of Information Security and external customers
- Work with our selected 3rd parties / vendors / partners to critically assess new and / or existing solutions and services, evaluating products and services for their efficiency and effectiveness as well as their cost benefit and return on investment projection
What do you bring with you:
Key Technologies and Experience:
- Experience of security frameworks such as NIST, Mitre ATT&CK Frame work, SABSA and Cyber Kill Chain
- Experience of executing AI Security solution management and monitoring in the form of process development and reviews of the required AI security management systems.
- Experience of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies, solution design and best practice
- Experience of Application and Software Development Lifecycle Management processes and technologies and specifically how to secure such tech
- Experience and / or knowledge of IT Architectural, Service and Governance processes such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL
- Experience of Zero Trust networking and connectivity solutions and principles
- Specific technical and / or solution experience of one or more of the following products
- Zscaler – Products and Services
- Google Cloud Platform Environments
- Crowdstrike – Products and Services
- Okta - Products and Services
- WIZ - Products and Services
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services
