Investor Relations Principal
Description
Manages the planning, coordination, and execution of the dissemination of financial and general FedEx information to the financial community. Working with the team, ensures that investors understand the company's strategy and performance, and that investor feedback is conveyed to senior management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop messaging and materials for the financial community including press releases, Board of Directors content, earnings call scripts, non-deal roadshow presentations, and other C-Suite-related materials.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and cross-functional FedEx teams.
Help coordinate investor communication events, including earnings calls and investor site visits.
Monitor and maintain securities analysts’ FedEx financial models and research.
Monitor and analyze consensus by analyst in Factset and Bloomberg.
Assist in providing relevant business, competitor, and financial community insights to C-Suite on a regular basis.
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent with a major in finance or economics.
For those without an undergraduate degree in finance or economics, MBA required. CFA or IRC a plus.
Seven (7) years of experience in financial analysis, investor relations, asset management, corporate financial communications, or equity research.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Significant intellectual curiosity.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to evaluate and handle complex issues.
Receptive to feedback.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work under a deadline.
Knowledge of legal aspects of financial disclosures.

Pay Transparency: This position may be eligible for relocation. (Salary level-SM)

Additional Details: Position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN. Candidates must live within a 50 miles radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several days a week. Position reports to Director Matt Deberry.
