Involves the application of specialist knowledge which may include providing specialist advice to employees, management or customers, managing or maintaining systems or processes or completing projects to develop or changing systems or processes as appropriate. Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.

General Job Description:
Under general supervision performs the following activities:
• Helps negotiate Union contracts and/or work with HR management to ensure company is within local requirements and able to obtain satisfactory agreements for all parties.
• Helps to deter unionization in countries where applicable through effective employee relations skills and assist line management in the maintenance of effective lines of communication. 
• Ensures delivery of compensation and benefit programs in accordance with company policies and procedures. 
• Assists management in recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt employees and in the administration of Human Resources paperwork. 
• Ensures that Human Resources administration policies, programs, and procedures for compensation, benefits, and organization planning are communicated and administered. 
• Ensures delivery of corporate, policies, practices, and programs in an assigned area by identifying under-utilization and potential problems; establishes community recruiting resources; investigates and resolves complaints; and represents the company at fact finding proceedings. 
  Provides consulting to management on a full range of Human Resources programs including disciplinary action and performance improvement; monitors and advises line/staff management concerning safety issues and violations.
• Investigates internal complaints, recommends courses of action, and ensures appropriate follow-up action in compliance with corporate guarantee of fair treatment" policy.
• Administers annual employee attitude survey, communicates results to management and assists management in the resolution of identified problem areas; analyzes and prepares statistical reports on significant trends in Human Resources-related activities and on data necessary for management information reports, etc. 
• Ensures that job postings and all transfer and promotion activity are in compliance with established corporate policy. 
• Serves as Human Resources advisor/consultant on Human Resources policy matters during the GFTP Board of Review Process and assists in security activities as required. Counsels employees concerning personal growth and development within FedEx.
•May be required to perform other duties

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree/Equivalent. Professional accreditation preferred.
• Fluent in English (600 TOEIC points).

Minimum Experience:
• Two (2) years professional experience in one or more of the following areas with demonstrated knowledge in the majority of the remaining areas: recruitment, compensation administration, benefits administration, employee and labor relations, training and development, and safety.
