LM48D: Sr Marketing Analyst
Description
Provides advanced quantitative and commercial expertise to regional and cross-functional leadership, supporting strategic decision-making across pricing, forecasting, competitive intelligence, market segmentation, and targeted marketing.
This role goes beyond traditional analysis, combining pricing strategy, commercial acumen, and performance analytics to drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability. Through advanced quantitative methods and modeling, the role translates complex data into clear commercial strategies and actionable recommendations.
Leads in the development of region planning and analyses via strategic analysis, forecasting, pricing, rate development, and market research, utilizing advanced computer modeling to influence strategy and profitability. Evaluates new business opportunities by interpreting competitive analysis and market intelligence, customer needs, and assessing competitor market position. Evaluates the revenue and volume impact of new volume, pricing changes, customer value analysis, competitor actions, and product promotions. Develops statistical reports to forecast, analyze, and track FedEx volumes and revenue by customer group, product, and country. Automates essential reports utilizing appropriate computer languages. Provides management with frequent updates on the progress of all projects and presents recommendations to management.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, Marketing, Mathematics, or a related analytical discipline. 6+ years of experience in Pricing, Commercial Strategy, Business Planning & Analysis, or quantitative business environments. Demonstrated experience influencing pricing and commercial decisions, not only executing pricing processes. Experience working in regional or international contexts preferred. Working knowledge of relational databases. Strong analytical, human relations, project management and communication skills. Key responsibilities for this position include analysis of strategic pricing requests and pricing administration functions (e.g., loading of discounts, performing quality assurance reviews and contract generation). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data bases preferred. Fluency in English (TOEIC 600 pts). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantitative modeling. Working knowledge of relational databases; SQL or other programming language. Strong understanding of financial metrics, pricing mechanics, and commercial KPIs
