What your main responsibilities are:
What You Will Do
Strategic Communications Leadership
- Define and execute an integrated communications strategy for India, aligned with business priorities and global narratives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping positioning, messaging, and reputation strategy.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive narrative management in a dynamic external environment.
Media Strategy & Reputation Management
- Lead high-impact media engagement, building strong relationships with top-tier business, policy, and trade media.
- Drive proactive storytelling around FedEx’s role in trade, infrastructure, e-commerce, and supply chain transformation.
- Oversee issues and crisis communications, ensuring speed, accuracy, and consistency.
Executive Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Own executive visibility strategy, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn and key industry forums.
- Develop insight-led narratives that position leaders as authoritative voices on global trade and logistics.
- Identify and activate strategic speaking, media, and content opportunities.
Content & Narrative Development
- Shape high-quality, insight-driven content including op-eds, keynote messaging, reports, and campaigns.
- Translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
- Partner with regional and global teams to align India communications with broader priorities.
- Collaborate across marketing, operations, public affairs, and leadership teams to drive integrated outcomes.
Team & Agency Mentorship
- Mentor internal team member(s) and external agencies to deliver high-quality, measurable outcomes.
- Instill a culture of ownership, agility, and excellence.
What we are looking for
You Will Be a Great Fit If You
- Bring 12+ years of experience in corporate communications, with a strong track record in strategic advisory and reputation management.
- Have deep experience engaging with top-tier media and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, with the ability to connect communications to commercial outcomes.
- Are skilled at navigating complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.
- Combine strategic thinking with sharp execution and high ownership.
- Have experience in logistics, infrastructure, technology, or adjacent sectors (preferred but not mandatory).
