Key Responsibilities:
People and Performance Management
• Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage team performance.
• Provide guidelines, support, and coaching to ensure team members have the tools and capabilities to meet objectives.
Planning
• Coordinate resources to identify and develop goals for business initiatives aligned with divisional and corporate goals.
• Finalize and present plans to senior management for approval.
Technical Expertise
• Maintain and develop expert knowledge of relevant standards and external requirements.
• Build team capabilities to provide expert advice on complex or unique issues.
Processes & Procedures
• Lead the design of process improvements, systems development, or best practice implementations within the area of expertise.
Maximizing Opportunities
• Identify and analyze business issues, opportunities, and constraints.
• Lead the implementation of solutions to ensure results are realized.
Research & Analysis
• Conduct high-quality analysis, issue recommendations, and contribute to strategic planning within and across regions.
Project Management
• Oversee team projects/initiatives to deliver results within time and budget.
• Use project management tools and processes to plan and control various projects/programs.
Compliance
• Ensure assigned department activities are completed on time and effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve department quality and productivity.
• Develop more effective ways of working that are consistent with internal priorities, policies, external regulatory, and legal requirements, while also assessing potential risks to the department, project, or wider business.
Alignments
• Build effective networks and relationships within the team and with key stakeholders across the business to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Maintain external alignments with customers, relevant subject matter experts (SMEs), or external bodies as required.
• Represent the company in external organizations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or relevant field.
+ 10 years of HR management experience in a global multinational corporation environment with passion in people management.
• Solid understanding of transportation environments, experience ideally with Unions.
• Demonstrated ability & courage to lead & inspire change.
• Ability to motivate and influence in complex, matrix, goal-focused organizations.
• Ability to think long term vision and plan for success.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
•Travel is required.
