Software Engineer Lead

Software Engineer Lead is a senior position at Fedex Dataworks Poland, which provides technical supervision of solutions implemented by one of our engineering teams working on the new FedEx data-driven e-commerce platform fdx (www.fdx.com).

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
 

Minimum Experience:

• + 5 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements;

• Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure;

• Experience with source control tools like Git; 

• Experience with task management systems like JIRA or ADO;

• Experience in development using Java or Kotlin with SpringBoot;

• Experience in the development of microservices architecture working under high-load;

• Comfort with relational database concepts and experience in writing SQL;

• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and working with user stories and acceptance criteria;

• Willingness to learn and explore new technologies, vast technology stack and figure out solutions, through deeper research and troubleshooting;

• Experience in technical leadership roles.
