Principal Digital Product Manager
Description
As a Principal, you are a strategic product leader responsible for a major product line, platform capability, or customer lifecycle segment. You drive multi-team initiatives, shape long-term product vision, and represent product at the executive level. You elevate product thinking across the organization and ensure delivery aligns with business impact.
This role will lead product strategy and execution for how address information is captured, validated, standardized, and leveraged across the digital product space. This position will ensure address information is accurate, scalable, and reusable across shipping, routing, delivery, billing, compliance, and customer experience systems. The Principal PM will drive enterprise standards for address validation and enable improved delivery accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer trust.
Essential Functions
Define and drive strategy for a product group or portfolio with multiple dependencies
Lead strategic planning and prioritization in partnership with senior product, engineering, and commercial leaders
Guide the work of multiple product teams, ensuring cohesion, clarity, and accountability
Deeply understand customer journeys and market dynamics to inform platform evolution
Track and report business outcomes, adoption metrics, and financial performance
Coach PMs across teams and help shape the organization's product management discipline
Represent your product group in steering committees, exec reviews, and roadmap alignment forums
Own the digital product vision and roadmap for address capture, validation, normalization, and enrichment
Define standards and reusable services for how address data is used across business units and platforms
Lead initiatives to improve address accuracy, deliverability, and geocoding precision
Drive product requirements for real-time validation, batch cleansing, international address handling, and coordinate verification
Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Compliance to reduce delivery failures and operational costs tied to bad address data
Evaluate and manage third-party address validation and data providers
Establish clear KPIs and reporting for address data quality and downstream impact
Preferred Qualifications:
Notable product management experience, including enterprise platform ownership
Experience working with data-intensive systems and API-based services
Strong understanding of address validation, geocoding, data governance, or master data management
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units
Strong technical fluency and ability to partner closely with engineering teams
Data-driven decision maker with strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum Experience
5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate communication, and drive execution.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, market research, and business case analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing executive-level presentations.
Proven ability to lead without authority and influence across senior leadership
