Quality Audit Lead - Finance Controls & Process Analyst-Associate


Responsible for executing transaction-level quality audits across Order to Cash (OTC) sub-processes — Billing, Cash Application, Collections, and Dispute Resolution — to support the Finance Controls & Quality Audit framework and drive process accuracy and compliance.
Essential Duties:
• Execute transaction-level audits across assigned OTC sub-processes using approved scorecards, evidence requirements, and quality dimensions (SOP adherence, documentation, approvals, coding accuracy, outcome quality).
• Apply defined risk-based sampling plans and escalate deviations or emerging risk patterns to senior team members.
• Log audit findings and defects accurately in the centralized defect management system, categorizing errors per the standard error taxonomy.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for identified defects and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to closure.
• Participate in calibration sessions to align scoring consistency and raise disputed findings for review.
• Maintain audit evidence, documentation, and workpapers in line with internal controls and audit-readiness standards.
• Prepare routine quality reports/scorecards summarizing audit pass rates, defect trends, and rework observations.
• Support daily quality huddles and provide input during weekly calibration and review sessions.
• Assist with control documentation and remediation tracking activities in partnership with internal/external audit stakeholders.
• Identify recurring issues and flag opportunities for SOP updates, job aids, or process improvement to team leads.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Finance Shared Services, Quality Audit, or Controls-related roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of OTC sub-processes (Billing, Cash Application, Collections, Dispute Resolution) and basic AR reporting/reconciliation concepts.
• Attention to detail and sound judgment in reviewing transactions against SOPs and control requirements.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills; ability to manage evidence and workpapers accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and participating in calibration discussions.
• Basic understanding of internal controls, SOX, or compliance requirements and process documentation standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality/audit tracking tools.

Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Finance Shared Services, Quality Audit, or Controls-related roles.
Certifications (Preferred) Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent quality/foundational certification preferred. Exposure to internal controls or compliance training (e.g., SOX awareness) is a plus. QDM Expert certification preferred. Certification is not mandatory at hire; pursuit of a relevant quality/controls certification is encouraged within the first 12–18 months.
